Volunteers are the fuel that drives the Douglas County Fair Foundation and the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo. They provide the people power to produce one of the largest community events in Douglas County each year. Folks from literally every walk of life devote hundreds of volunteer hours to plan, organize and execute all the events associated with the DC Fair Foundation and DC Fair & Rodeo.
There are many volunteer opportunities from year round committee participation to activities during the week long fair in early August.
Volunteers can help on the a variety of Douglas County Fair Foundation committees, including:
- Fundraising – Annual Campaign, Major Gifts, Corporate and Planned Giving
- Memorials and Donor Recognition
- Marketing and Public Relations
- Special Events
- Financial Affairs
