The Douglas County Fair Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit raising support for the youth, the rodeo, and the agricultural heritage of Douglas County, Colorado.
What we do
We exist to keep the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo — and the young people at the heart of it — thriving. Through grants, scholarships, the rodeo, and community events, we put real resources behind the 4-H and FFA youth who carry on our western and agricultural traditions.
Every dollar we raise stays right here in Douglas County.
Led by your neighbors
The Foundation is run by an all-volunteer board of local ranchers, business owners, and longtime community members who give their time to keep the fair, the rodeo, and our youth programs going for the next generation.

The Fair & Rodeo
For more than a century, the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo has been the largest community gathering in the county — a celebration of agriculture, youth, and western heritage.
The Foundation forms
The Douglas County Fair Foundation is established as a 501(c)(3) to raise and steward support for the fair, rodeo, and youth programs.
L.E.G. Up begins
Cherokee Ranch & Castle donates the first market steer, launching the Livestock Educational Grant program that has grown to six species.
